Voting dropped in some Connecticut cities

Participation in the 2022 midterm election slumped in some cities, including Hartford, Bridgeport and New Haven. The number of ballots cast in those communities dropped by 10% or more from historical averages in the last five midterms.

Map uses preliminary data from the Nov. 8, 2022 election. Reliable turnout figures were still pending from Bethlehem, Old Lyme and Salisbury.
