Retaliation or making peace

Supporters of right-wing populist parties in Europe tend to be more willing to make concessions and less supportive of retaliatory action in response to the tariffs Trump put on imports from Europe, according to the results of The POLITICO Poll.

Percentage of respondents who said that their country should put tariffs on goods imported from the U.S. to match the tariffs the US has placed on them; make some concessions in order to convince the U.S. to remove the tariffs; or put up with the tariffs.
