This week had 172 active price cuts, down from 185 in the prior batch, keeping repricing activity relatively quiet as many homes have been taken off the market during the slower summer season. The median asking price after cuts was about $993K, the median cut was roughly $55K, and the median percentage reduction was about 6.0%. The heaviest neighborhood concentrations were Midtown West, Midtown East, Chelsea, and the Financial District.

Most discounts were concentrated in the middle of the market, with 49 reductions between $500K and $1M The deepest dollar discounts were again concentrated at the high end, led by a Sherry Netherland co-op with a $3.45M reduction, a Trump Parc condo with a $3.38M cut, and a 3-bed sponsor condo at the Waldorf Astoria Residences New York with a $2.85M reduction
