Lung problems in children exposed to Salton Sea dust

A study involving more than 700 elementary school-age children in five northern Imperial Valley cities found high levels of lung problems, particularly close to the Salton Sea. Nationally, about 20% of children have allergies and fewer than 10% have asthma.
