Services subject to Maryland's 3% 'tech tax'

Maryland's sales tax will be expanded to certain technology services starting July 1. The 3% rate is half as much as the larger 6% sales tax. Businesses will need to collect the tax when providing these services, which are identified using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).
