Fresno-area hospitals

A vast majority of employees at four major hospitals in the Fresno-Clovis area met a Sept. 30, 2021 deadline to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Employees risked losing their jobs if they did not comply unless they had an approved medical or religious exemption.

Community Medical Centers, operators of Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center, employs more than 8,800 people. Saint Agnes Medical Center has about 2,900 workers. Kaiser Permanente has about 2,800 employees at its Fresno medical center and medical offices in Fresno, Madera, Kings and Tulare counties.
