Notes | Carrying a payload 21 Starlink V2 Mini satellites, 13 of which are Direct-to-Cell, to a 43.00 degree inclination orbit on a South Eastern trajectory to an initial orbit 284 x 293 km. The first stage B1086 landed aboard the droneship Just Read the Instructions, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean (T+00:08:15) but the booster soon toppled due to a fire which damaged one of the booster's landing legs. A fuel leak from one of the nine Merlin engines started about 85 seconds after lift-off but there was not oxygen to ignite. That changed on landing when the hot engine ignited the fuel air mix blowing out a panel on the side of the rocket. This resulted in the loss of B1086 on what was its 5th flight. |
