A grouped bar chart showing the highest level of education attained by the immigrant population aged between 25 and 59 in the fourth quarter of 2024. Although 2% of Asian immigrants are illiterate, at the other end of the scale 26% hold a higher education qualification. Overall, the data on the educational attainment of the population from the Indian subcontinent reflects a higher level than that of the Chinese population. Internally, despite the small size of the Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi subsamples, significant differences are observed in favour of Indians.
