The past two years have been a rough patch according to McKinseyites who completed the survey. In the past year, the firm notched lower scores in all 22 categories. The same is true when you extend out two years. The biggest gap involves compensation, which has fallen by .549 of a point in the past two years. While pay is dropping according to survey respondents, hours are increasing, as the firm saw its average in this area fall by .588 of a point since 2019.
