The Beginning Postsecondary Students Longitudinal Study (BPS) from the National Center for Education Statistics surveys cohorts of first-time, beginning students at three points in time: at the end of their first year, and then three and six years after first starting in postsecondary education. These data reflect cumulative 6-year loan totals of students whose parents borrowed PLUS in 2012, along with their own cumulative federal student loan debt.
