2024 MBA Pay: Nonprofits

Profit…isn’t that the point of a business? Not for some MBAs, who prefer impact as much as service. That doesn’t mean MBAs won’t collect six-figure paychecks in the non-profit sector. That’s particularly true at the Wharton School and Harvard Business School, where the going rate, on average, is $139,333 and $121,842 respectively. The Yale School of Management carries the reputation as the top business school for students looking to enter the field. However, Yale SOM produced just 7 graduates for non-profits in 2024, where they averaged $107,100 – nearly equal to the school’s $108,907 average a year earlier.
