NC metropolitan areas

Wilmington, NC was the seventh fastest growing metro area in the country from 2020 to 2024 at almost 14%. Raleigh-Cary ranked 23rd at almost 11%. Two other NC metro areas made the top 50 in the fastest growing: Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia (40th, 8.4%) and Pinehurst-Southern Pines (36th, 8.7%).
