DEA Data Shows Publix Was the Second-Largest Seller of Oxycodone in Florida by 2019

Walgreens, Publix, and CVS sold 56% of all oxycodone dispensed by Florida pharmacies in 2019, according to a Tampa Bay Times analysis of federal data released in a lawsuit. Publix was initially a relatively minor dispenser of opioids but climbed to surpass CVS.
