Anyone born before 1959 reached their full retirement age for survivors by April 2025. If you were born in 1959 or after, here’s when you’ll reach yours.
if you were born in nineteen fifty nine your full retirement age for survivor benefits is sixty six and six months and you attain full retirement age between july twenty twenty five and june twenty twenty six
if you were born in nineteen sixty your full retirement age for survivor benefits is sixty six and eight months and you attain full retirement age between september twenty twenty six and august twenty twenty seven
if you were born in nineteen sixty one your full retirement age for survivor benefits is sixty six and ten months and you attain full retirement age between november twenty twenty seven and october twenty twenty eight
if you were born in nineteen sixty two or your full retirement age for survivor benefits is sixty seven and you attain full retirement age in january between twenty twenty nine or later
