JXN Water shutoffs of drinking water, by month

The utility ramped up shutoffs in September for accounts with overdue balances. JXN Water said it's disconnecting 500 to 1,000 accounts a week on average, and projects it will have "worked" all accounts by mid-2026. In total, the utility has shut off 4,403 accounts in 2025 as of Oct. 13.
