Top 5 districts in overall math proficiency in 2026 for students in grades 3-8 among non-charter public school districts.

STATE NOTE. Results reflect the Georgia Milestones End-of-Grade assessments administered to grades 3-8 for math; 2026 math results accessed 8/6/26. "Proficiency" here includes students achieving levels 3 or 4 on the assessment (Proficient and Distinguished). GaDOE administered a new ELA assessment in 2026; results are not available at the time of this publication.
DISTRICT INCLUSION. Districts included in this figure are public non-charter regular school districts, as defined by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Results are included only if all individual grade levels (between grades 3-8) did not have suppressed results (thus preventing accurate aggregation) or if the State Education Agency provided an aggregated district total for grades 3-8; in other words, smaller districts may not be represented here if grade-level results are suppressed.
