COVID mortality doesn't just vary by age — it varies by race, too

White CT residents consistently have the lowest COVID death rate for populations above 65, except for the age range 85+. The COVID mortality rate for a 65-year-old white person is comparable to that of a 55-year-old Black person and a 60-year-old Hispanic person.

Death data for 2020 only through October 2020. Data omitted for ages < 40 due to sparse data.
