Canadians Give High Marks For Nova Scotia's New Spaceport

"Spaceport Nova Scotia is a new space launch facility in Canso, Nova Scotia. It will support government, defence, commercial, and scientific space missions. Like an airport, the spaceport will provide the infrastructure and support different customers need to safely launch satellites and rockets into orbit. Customers will include international and domestic launch vehicles and Canada’s Department of National Defence.

The spaceport’s launch path mostly points south over the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean, not over populated land. This gives it access to high-demand polar and sun-synchronous orbits."
