This year has seen a deal boon, with at least 44 acquisitions worth $50 million or more up front as of late August. That almost meets 2025's total of 49. Among this year's deals, 10 have a value less than $500 million. Nine are in the $500 million to $999 million range. Seventeen are in the $1 billion to nearly $5 billion range. And then there are four each in the $5 billion to almost $10 billion range and the greater-than-$10-billion bucket.
