Penn State is spending less for trustee meetings

Each gathering of Penn State's 36-member Board of Trustees costs tens of thousands of dollars. However, when adjusted for inflation, the university has decreased its average per-meeting spending over the past decade.

Note: Penn State's fiscal year runs from July to June. Expenses were down in FY21 because the board held virtual meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Expenses in FY25 reflect data from two meetings.
