NOTES: Based on cohorts of first-time CCC students from fall 2015 to fall 2022. Restricted to degree/transfer-intending students. We count a student as transferring if he/she earned at least 12 units as a non-special-admit student at any college in the system before transferring. A student is considered to have left the system if he/she was not enrolled in the year following the two-, three-, and four-year marks. It is possible that some students re-enrolled for a later term. In each time frame, we are comparing the same number of years before and after AB 705 implementation. Students could have taken their first math course at any point in their CCC journey. See Technical Appendix A for more details.
