Student and Parent Opinion Difference in Successful Bullying Prevention at SC School Districts

Students and parents were each asked in a survey if school staff prevents bullying. The results were published in the 2025 South Carolina School Report Cards. Parents throughout the state agreed or strongly agreed that school staff prevents bullying by 12 percentage points more than students agreed or strongly agreed with the statement.

The parent survey is an annual survey given to parents of students in the highest grade of each public school. Parent answers at SC School for the Deaf and Blind were not provided.
