FMCSA's daily authority revocations, March-November 2023

This chart shows the day-to-day flow of entity-authority revocation decisions made by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration through much of the year. As analysts have noted, it shows a fairly typical pattern before the late-November spike, with an extra large-volume day near the end of that month. (The large-volume revocation days are more typical of Mondays or, in rare cases, the Tuesday after a Monday federal holiday.)
