This vertical column chart shows the five most important issues among survey respondents. They are the cost of living, health care, the economy, taxes and climate change. Loyal UCP voters rate the cost of living as much higher than the rest and climate change much lower. Reluctant UCP voters rate cost of living and health care more. Climate change is low but not as low as loyal UCP voters. Loyal NDP voters rate cost of living and health care as equally important, climate change and economy in the middle and taxes the lowest.
The survey was conducted with a random sample of 1,000 Alberta adults Dec. 6 - 10 via an online panel. Because the survey was done by an online panel, it cannot be considered a true probability sample. However, a comparable margin of error for a sample that size is +/-3.1 percentage points 19 times out of 20.
