Michigan petition drives, 1978 to 2022

A look at which initiative and referendum petitions gained the most signatures from 1978 to 2022, and how well they did in the polls.

Proposals pass with 50% of yes votes or more. Some proposals didn't make it to the ballot because they were struck down by a court, didn't have enough valid signatures or were approved by the Legislature (as noted in the database).
