2024 IREAD-3 results

Indiana's third grade literacy test results were released by the Indiana Department of Education Wednesday. The results improved for the third year in a row and represented the highest increase since the state moved to IREAD-3 in 2013. Even with the improvements, nearly 1 in 5 Indiana third graders did not demonstrate literacy proficiency.

Proficiency rates reflect best spring/summer result of first-time third grade cohort, including previous year second grade proficient results.
