*1995 AL MVP was Mo Vaughn (BOS), 1995 NL MVP was Barry Larkin (CIN), 2014 NL MVP was Clayton Kershaw (LAD), 2011 NL MVP was Buster Posey (SFG), 2010 NL MVP was Joey Votto (CIN), and 2005 NL MVP was Albert Pujols (STL);  Note- Players who changed teams mid-season not included as that can have an effect on MVP voting. Shohei Ohtani not included as his uniqueness is nearly impossible to model.
