Small rises in minimum wage due Jan. 1

Modest increases in minimum wages are set to begin Jan. 1 in 25 states, many are tied to inflation adjustment, legislation or ballot measures.

Florida and Hawaii changes effective Oct. 2022. 'Inflation adjustment' indicates that the new rate was established by a formula reflecting the change in prices over the preceding year. New York increases are generally for outside the New York metro area.
