Note: Reported gas volumes are distributed across the reportable disposition pathways, including implied associated gas. Roughly half of oil wells vent or flare more than 10% of produced gas—levels that would exceed acceptable thresholds in other U.S. jurisdictions. By contrast, gas wells show a markedly different pattern.
