Minnesota's nursing homes rely on early- and end-career employees to staff their facilities

This chart shows the share of each age group that is working in nursing homes, compared to all industries in Minnesota. The data shows that the vocation is more common among earlier career (14-24 year-old) and later career (55 and older) workers. But there is less interest in nursing home work from those who are in their peak working years from their mid-20s to their mid-50s.
