Total lobbying spending without inflation adjustment
Lobbying expenditures reached a record $1.2 billion in the third quarter of 2025, the highest recorded nominal third-quarter figure. Adjusted for inflation, lobbying spending during the first three quarters of the year rose 7.7 percent compared with 2024 — the largest year-to-date increase since 2008.
