BPS school bus on-time percentage to start 2024-25 year
Most of Boston Public Schools' school buses were late to drop students off on the first day of school, Thursday, Sept. 5. The percentage rose on subsequent trips, but nearly half of buses remained late on the following Monday morning.
In the morning of the first day of school in Boston, Sept. 5, 34% of Boston Public Schools' school buses were on time. That percentage rose to 57% after dismissal, 61% the next morning and 67% the next afternoon. On the morning of Sept. 9, 57% of buses were on time.
