State courts have spent 10% of money lawmakers allocated to process marijuana expungements

In the fall, 62 of the state's 115 counties requested a total of $4.1 million for labor hours to review thousands of marijuana charges that might be eligible for expungement. As of May 15, the counties had spent $658,728 on paychecks and $18,290 on postage.
