Jobs Aren't As Plentiful As They Used To Be

There were 1.1 job openings per unemployed worker in October, below pre-pandemic levels and far below March 2022 when there were two jobs for everyone out of work. Forecasts vary whether the job market will improve or get worse in 2025.
