At the local level, the supply of housing determines how people are distributed throughout a given area. We research the location, capacity and expected timing and sequence of future residential development, so our forecasters can match the population that is forecast for a region to available dwellings within that region. This is how we achieve the micro-geographic distribution of the forecast population necessary to create custom forecast catchments.
