Note: “Minutes on hold” refers to the time it takes a taxpayer to reach a live customer service representative, including the time needed to respond to any automated prompts. “All phone lines” includes 60 staffed telephone lines. “Accounts management lines” are core assistance lines for individuals and businesses and receive the majority of IRS phone traffic.
