The California Foundation on the Environment and the Economy paid about 40% of the total bill for sponsored trips in 2022

There were 85 trip sponsors who collectively paid more than $950K to sponsor travel for 81 legislators in 2022. The top three organizations accounted for two-thirds of the spending, here are the 10 largest funders.
