Cal Poly data over 50 years show less annual rainfall should be expected as new normal

The amount of rain that falls within a rainy season (July-June) appears to be trending downward at a precipitation monitoring station at Cal Poly. The 2020-21 rainy season was the sixth-driest at the station in 50 years, according to the university's data.
