Gophers last in Big Ten on head coach diversity

The Star Tribune surveyed every Big Ten school in 2017 and again this year to determine what share of head coaches – the highest-ranked individual overseeing each sports program – identify as people of color. Every Gophers head coach is white, as was the case in 2017. Meanwhile, much of the rest of the conference has increased its diversity.
