Passing rates surge on revised tests

The College Board said nine tests had new standard-setting this year. In three, nationwide passing rates surged by more than 10 percentage points. The passing rate declined only in Physics C: Mechanics, which accounted for less than 2 percent tests taken in Massachusetts last year.
