Explore the chart below for the latest information on the total COVID-19 cases and deaths confirmed at each New Hampshire nursing home, plus additional information on each institution's past history of deficiencies, ownership status and other provider information, as reported by the federal government. You can also see whether a facility has reported cases of COVID-19 or staff shortages to the federal government. Nursing homes designated as "Special Focus Facilities" or candidates for that program are highlighted.
Why do some facilities list no cases, but also show up as having reported COVID-19 cases to CMS? The state only discloses specific case totals at facilities deemed to be experiencing an "outbreak," which leaves out some facilities that have reported a smaller number of cases. While the federal government does maintain its own COVID-19 case totals for individual nursing homes in New Hampshire, we found discrepancies between the state and federal government's case counts for COVID-19 at a number of facilities. NHPR has been relying on the state's numbers throughout our reporting on the pandemic, so for consistency we opted to use those case counts for the total infections and deaths reported by facility.
You can use the search bar below to look up a facility. Clicking on the link in the name of a facility will take you to their profile on ProPublica's Nursing Home Inspect tool, which draws on records published by the federal government. Please note, clicking on each link will take you to an outside source that relies on publicly available data being reported by the federal government.
