Mississippi hospitals with highest low-risk C-section rates 

Mississippi performs more C-sections on moms low-risk for them than anywhere else in the country. These five hospitals saw the highest average rates over time.

Data reflect percent of NTSV (nulliparous, term, singleton, vertex; or first-time birth, 37+ weeks, not multiple, head-down) births delivered by C-section. Northwest Regional in Clarksdale was formerly owned/known as Northwest Mississippi Medical Center and Delta Health before 2021
