In 2021, 458 out of 771 Michigan law enforcement agencies participated and provided use-of-force data to the FBI. The officers employed by these agencies represent 90% of sworn law enforcement officers in the state. Only agencies that submitted one or more use-of-force incident reports or zero reports are included in these reports.
