2021 Pa. air quality grades for particle pollution

The American Lung Association's 2021 State of the Air report grades counties on a weighted average of high particle pollution days from 2017-2019. Particle pollution is soot from things like power plants, fires or car exhaust. Exposure to high levels of particle pollution can be harmful and lead to health problems from asthma to cardiovascular disease and lung cancer.
