Mississippi Today used data in a report by Georgetown University to analyze the entire composition of the workforce in each state — those with bachelor’s degrees, those without bachelor’s degrees and a “good job” and those without either. Mississippi has the single highest percentage of workers who have neither a bachelor’s degree nor a "good job" — 52 percent — of any state.
