ICE office covering Austin has seen one of the steepest arrest increases in Texas

San Antonio, the ICE field office covering Austin and much of Central Texas, made an average of 565 arrests a month from 2022 to the end of 2024. By July 2026, monthly arrests climbed to 3,077.
