School board races with busted caps

In the final weeks of Chicago's school board elections, the vast majority of candidates will be able to raise unlimited dollars without having to worry about contribution caps. In most cases, it's because Super PACs (independent expenditure committees) spent more than $100,000 supporting a candidate. When those caps are exceeded, everyone else in that race gets to raise unlimited sums across the board.
