A "Last, Best and Final Offer" made by Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey to the Fraternal Order of Police calls for raises for officers at every rank, but skews heavily toward new recruits.
This chart shows that Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey's administration offered the Fraternal Order of Police raises of 24.7% for first-year officers, 17.5% for second-year officers, 11.9% for third-year officers, 7.4% for fourth-year officers, 10.2% for master police officers and detectives, 8% for sergeants and 6.1% for lieutenants.
