BLM Colorado: New wells spud

Once a company acquires an oil and gas lease from the Bureau of Land Management, it can be a multi-year process to get a drilling permit and start drilling. This table contains the total number of wells that were started (spudded) in Colorado from 2013-2025. A spudded well bore is one where drilling operations have begun.
