OUSD newcomer graduation and dropout rates vs. other English learners, 2018-22

Newcomer students are foreign-born students in their first three years of U.S. schooling. Non-newcomer English Learners are primarily U.S.-born students who speak another language at home and have not yet passed advanced academic English proficiency tests. Graduation and dropout rates do not add to 100% because graduation rates are tabulated over four years, and some students remain enrolled past year four.
